Thank You!

This journey is special. Because it’s a dream come true. It took years. Sometimes I thought it would never happen. That I was just fooling myself. And here we are.

I’m Grateful…

I’m deeply grateful to my closest friends that none of them ever told me that these plans of mine were foolish, that it couldn’t be done with such a large family, that it wasn’t a good idea, that I shouldn’t do it. It’s incredibly important to have such people around you. Who might say “I probably couldn’t do it”, but never “don’t do it”. This is how mature people with life experience and social intelligence behave. Thank you all for your support!

Thank you to my amazing in-laws who offered to take care of and feed our cats for long months so that we could fulfill this dream. I don’t think they knew what they were getting into 😅. Or maybe they do. All the more I’m incredibly grateful to them. Also for their support (including financial). Without them, this certainly wouldn’t have happened. I couldn’t wish for better in-laws.

And thank you also to the friends who undertook to come and feed the cats if the in-laws couldn’t make it sometime. Namely Mati and Johnny Rusnák, Maťo and Janka Čerňanský, Mirka and Scarlett, and especially Bažo. Thank you friends 💛 for agreeing to this. I don’t even know how we’ll repay you.

Thank you to everyone who inspired, supported, and helped us with this, especially Bob and Klárka Margetín. Klárka consulted me on the preparations and reassured me that I wasn’t missing anything important and assured me that I was doing quite well. And Bob helped me arrange through his acquaintances and former colleagues in Vietnam the first accommodation in Da Nang (for one month, because they’ll be having New Year there at that time and it will be a problem to arrange anything then). For a great price and really quality housing. And these two were the ones who inspired me to go to Asia. Thank you for that!

Thank you to my friend, colleague, business partner and my grumbling willow Stano, for supporting me in this and basically passively coaching me. It’s a shame it didn’t work out for us to go to Bali and Vietnam together as we first planned. But at least Peti and Samko went in the end, and we at least enjoyed that Bali together a little bit. Thank you for your help with work matters that I couldn’t handle from Asia. Thank you for that!

And thank you once again to Bažo for his support and help, a friend who is hard to find and it’s only by luck if someone finds such a good friend in life (yes, you’re super too Maťo “buddy” Rázus 😉). Thank you for the help, transport, distribution of keys, and overall constant support.

And thank you also to all our other friends and also my family, for making time for me before leaving and that we met and said goodbye. Last time at the Christmas markets, which is why I chose this thematic photo. Thank you!

But most, most of all I thank my Love, life partner, wife Simonka, who always supports me in everything that matters deeply to me. This journey won’t be easy and many other women wouldn’t go for something like this. All those concerns about safety, hygiene, health, children, food, transportation, accommodation, and other risks that other women see. Fortunately, she doesn’t have this. Her sentence “where you go, I will go with you Love” makes me strong and brave. I start something and she helps me with it. Thank you for that! I love you 💛.

And I also thank God, or the Universe, or the Great Entity for what we have in life, that we are all healthy, that we have abundance, that we have freedom, that we have information, that we have each other and that we love each other. Amen!

Thank You!
