Dubai - Matyas's View

We arrived in Sharjah by car. (Sharjah is one of the 7 emirates, close to Dubai.) We arrived at the accommodation, put down our things and went to eat. Then we went to the bus stop. We took a bus that had monitors and we played Angry Birds on them until the final stop - the bus station at the metro. We went to the metro, bought cards and passed through the turnstiles and took the red line to some shopping mall. We all had ice cream there. I had chocolate.

We went to see the tallest building in the world - Burj Khalifa and Leo went to see some lamp. We walked around the square. There were lit-up skyscrapers there. There was a large fountain where boats were also floating. Then we went to the metro and on the way we saw two buildings connected together by a bridge.

We took a bus to see the Golden Souk - it’s a street with shops that sell gold jewelry and the largest gold ring in the world. We walked through the golden street to the bay for a boat and took a ride to see the surroundings. Then we went to eat. We had juices. Then we went to the bus and took the bus to the sea.

I didn’t like Dubai because what we went to see was boring. This city didn’t appeal to me at all.
